Statement
As the founder of Remnant Lab — and as an artist working with performance, installation, and video — my work has always approached fashion as a foundation for visual expression.
One of my works began with discarded rubber found in a large manufacturing factory. These forgotten remnants and offcuts were never intended to be worn. Yet through a participatory performance, with many hands taking part, they became a meaningful, singular work of fashion-art.
That experience moved me to build a brand with its own meaning and aesthetic — one that brings overlooked materials back into view, and reveals a different kind of beauty through wearable art.
I chose accessories — small things that stay close to the body — because they are a quiet statement, a silent act of transformation.
A single stitch, an asymmetrical cut, two unlike materials meeting: sometimes that is all it takes for a neglected, abandoned thing to be given a second life. Every piece here is handmade, and entirely its own.
Each carries its own traces of life — a crease, a raw edge, a loose thread.
The Material
What the factory left behind
The pieces begin as industrial cast-offs: perforated rubber netting, honeycombed offcuts, the trimmings no one keeps. Worn against the body, and set between the city and the trees, the discarded becomes something to be looked at again.
Remnant Lab is where that looking-again happens — a practice, not a product line.

作为 Remnant Lab 的主理人，同时也是一个行为艺术、装置与影像的创作者，
我的艺术创作一直以时尚作为基础，是一种视觉艺术的表达。
我有一个作品，是围绕一座大型橡胶工厂里废弃的材料开始的。
这些被遗忘的边角料，从来不是为了"穿着"而生的东西；
但在这场行为创作中，在众人的参与之下，
它们成了一件时尚的、有意义的、独特的艺术品。
我选择做配饰这样贴近身体的小物件，
因为它们是一种安静的宣言，是一种无声的转化。
一道缝线，一个不对称的设计，不同材质之间的相遇——
对一件被忽视、被遗弃的材料来说，这就足够让它获得第二次生命。
这里的每一件，都是纯手工制作的独特艺术作品，
它们都拥有自己独特的生命痕迹：一道折痕，一个裁边，一根线头……
Remnant Lab 不是一个简单的配饰品牌，也是创作的另一个实践。
